On this tour, you will try the best culinary options in Istanbul with the help of a guide, who will show you some local favorite spots. You will taste food from cafes, markets, street food vendors, and high-quality restaurants, and savor some of the highest quality traditional Turkish dishes.

We start the day by browsing a local dairy market. Immediately after, we'll sit down at a cafe for a delicious meal of simit with honey, kaymak (clotted cream), and other cheese varieties. Try a bowl of menemen (that wonderful tomato-based dish) and a cup of tea, a traditional Turkish tea experience.

Next, you'll admire panoramic Istanbul views as you cross by ferry to the Asian side of the city, to the Kadıköy district, a popular place for locals' food shopping. Here, the delicious İskender kebap—made from lamb on pide bread with cooked butter, tomato, and yogurt sauce—awaits you.
