Bence kendine has bir yapı. İstanbul un çok kültürlü yapısına güzel bir örnek. Ermeni cemaati için önemli bir yer. Ama korku duvarları hep yüksek. Bunu tüm kilise ve sinagoglar da görüyoruz. Nasıl bir korku ortamı yaratılmış bu güzel kentte. İstanbul bir senfonidir. Çok sesli bir senfoni. Bunu içselleştirmemiz gerekli. Yoksa İstanbul tangır tıngır bir kente dönüşür.

Yenikapı Surp Tateos Partoğomeos Ermeni kilisesi Bu kilise Ermenilerin ilk ruhani aydınlatıcıları olan Surp Tateos ve Surp Partoğomeos Havariler’in ismine atfedilmiştir. Kilise’nin temeli 1846’da Patrik Madteos II. Çuhacıyan tarafından atılmıştır. Kilise 1969’da Patrik Şınorhk’un döneminde, Tateos Ajderhanyan çifti ve bazı hayırseverlerin destekleriyle yenilendi.
