Burası Hindistan Büyükelçisinin resmi ikametgahıdır. Meyland'ın arazisi 1911'e kadar geniş Backershagen arazisine aitti. Rotterdam tüccarı Frits Weise, Meyland ve De Wiltzangk adlı iki villasının inşa ettirdiği büyük bir bölümü satın aldı. İngiliz kır evi tarzında inşa edilen Meyland 1912 yılına dayanmaktadır. Weise aktif bir bahçıvandır ve arazisine sebze bahçesi, sera ve meyve bahçesi eklemiştir. Evin bir uzantısı olarak tasarlanan geometrik bir bahçe, peyzaj mimarı Dirk Tersteeg tarafından doğrudan arkasında tasarlandı. Meyland artık Hindistan büyükelçisinin ikametgahı.
