Türbeyi, Sultan II. Murad’ın saray adamlarından Bedreddin Pars Bey inşa ettirmiştir. Pars ailesinin kurucusu da olan Pars Bey’in asıl adı, Bedreddin Mahmud, baba adı ise Abdullah'tır. 14 Eylül 1445 tarihli bir vakıf kaydı bulunmaktadır. İlk vakıf senedinin yanması üzerine düzenlenmiş olan bu vakıf kaydında Pars Bey "Emirü'1-âzâm ve kadri'1-muazzam" (meşhur ve çok değerli) deyimiyle anılmıştır. Kendisi; eskiden burada bulunan zaviyesine bahçeler, bağlar, değirmenler ile birlikte Yazır ve Umurbey köylerini vakfetmiştir. Mevcut türbe, sekizgen planlı olup, üzeri bir kubbe ile örtülmüştür. Türbede Bedreddin Pars Bey’e ait olduğu bilinen bir sanduka yer almaktadır.
