Aydoğdu Bey, Osman Gazi'nin kardeşi Gündüz Bey'in oğludur. Amcası Osman Gazi tarafından bizzat yetiştirilmiş ve onunla birlikte birçok savaşa katılmıştır. Henüz çok gençken Koyunhisar Savaşı esnasında hayatını kaybetmiştir. Oruç Beğ Tarihi'nde mezarına Türk Han Mezarı dendiğini ve sancılanan atların bu mezarın etrafında 3 defa dolaştırıldığında şifa buldukları kaydedilmiştir.
