Kütahya Heel Plateau Nature Park; Located in the west of Turkey, Kütahya is a province that contains many natural beauties. Located in the south of the province, the Topuk Plateau Nature Park is an important place among these beauties. It was determined in 1993 by the General Directorate of National Parks. The park area was established in 1985 to protect the heel plateau of many villages, including Datça and Birecik. The park has spread over an area of 4,170 hectares. Heel Plateau is located in the Büyük Menderes basin. A wide vegetation seems to be hidden behind the high mountain. Some of the important types of vegetation; Rosehip, vacuum cleaner, hazelnut, ash, pine, oak and hornbeam. Sheep, oak wolves, foxes, squirrels, deer, eagle, such as many animals were observed. The most important of them; Wild fox and red pigeon. Wild fox is seen as the symbol of the park. The park also stands out with nature hiking trails suitable for all ages and every feature. However, certain parts of the park are also open to bicycle use.
Different hiking trails in the Topuk Plateau Park are 21 km long and the first parking in it is the 3 km Küçükpark walking parking. In addition, a 5 km -mouth walking parking, 9 km Çalı Village walking parking, and 8 km heel plateau walking parking were also processed.
Cultural Activities: P> Heel Plateau Nature Park is frequently visited by Kütahyalılar. The cultural structures in the park increase the cultural importance of the park. These include many ruins such as Kütahya Castle, Ortahazit Village, Bağlar Village and Sivrice Village. In addition, the songs of many famous well -known epics, Gülşah's match, are also discussed. As the center of natural life, the plant and animal cover in the park, calm silence, green natural beauties and cultural spaces can have fun with human beings.
