Ankara Ethnography Museum was built by Arif Hikmet Koyunoğlu, one of the important architects in the first years of the republic. The person working as an engineer in the building is Mr. Nafiz. The building stands out with its single dome and rectangular shape. It presents itself as a building made of a combination of limestone and marble.
The building can be reached by climbing a small staircase. In the first entrance area, there is a hall under the dome and an inner courtyard. The columns in the inner courtyard also attract attention. It can also be seen that a marble pool is in an open area. It is stated that this inner courtyard was once Atatürk's temporary grave. It is also stated that the inner courtyard was closed during these times. There are many symmetrical rooms around the inner courtyard.
