In terms of plan, it is a continuation of the open iwan madrasahs of the Anatolian Seljuks.
Rubble, cut stone and brick were used as building materials. The courtyard is entered through a pointed arched door from the entrance iwan covered with a star vault. The porticoes surrounding the courtyard on three sides have pointed arches, one of the sections at the end facing each other is covered with a barrel vault, the ones in front of the iwans are covered with cross vaults, and the others are covered with domed vaults.
